I'm a big fan of the Rick young style. I use my binos religiously and find it to be the best. I use a Hill People Gear runner kit bag to carry my ccw and can tuck the binos and rangefinder behind it.

I also have a Hill People Gear heavy recon kit bag with the bino bucket on the front, but I find that it's more of a pain when climbing.

I’ve used two bino harnesses the last 5 years:

A homemade elastic one for hunting out west.

The JX3 versa pack system for everything else. I thought bino harnesses seemed silly until john convinced me to try it. I would say 90% of my hunts at this point, the JX3 bino harness and a single small pouch attached to the bottom of it are the only bags I bring in the whitetail woods.

If I need more water I bring the backpack.

If you want versatility - I use this setup scouting, hunting with the JX3 hybrid, my hangon, my pacseat, and my exo frame pack.

I am sold On Marsupial Gear for all bino harness and spotting scope covet needs. They have a lot of great gear these days
