Unicycle for the win
I often walk with an arrow tipped with a Judo point. I can flick sticks out of the way, or "thin-out" a thick layer of dry fluffy leaves where I need to place my foot.I'll have to try it, but how does a walking stick make you quieter? You can poke around to find quiet spots? You can better balance? Never heard this. I do have an aluminum telescoping hiking pole or two laying around to try this with.
Just to be clear, I'm not walking with the arrow nocked on the string, I just have it in hand for using it as a rake.I often walk with an arrow tipped with a Judo point. I can flick sticks out of the way, or "thin-out" a thick layer of dry fluffy leaves where I need to place my foot.
It's not always about being quiet, it about making the CORRECT kind of noise. Judo arrow helps me keep an established access trail "groomed". Each time I use it it's quieter than the previous time. Obviously done during the final approach.
