What camo do you wear

I don’t always use Camo but when I do I try to use lighter patterns, don’t really care what brand. That being said, I’ve killed some big bucks while wearing full Mossy Oak Coveralls, old dirty blue jeans and a yellow flannel, and even cutoff overalls and no shirt! I think being still and good positioning are more important than Camo.

Predator. I have just about everything in that pattern including an IWOM, Heater Body Suit and even a Double Bull blind. By far the best pattern I have ever used. Deer seem to look right thru it and getting picked off in trees is a thing of the past for me.

Which one, brown deception? I like it too find it a bit pricy.

I use Spring Green early, Brown Deception later and Fall Gray anytime after leaf drop.

Whatever deer ignore.

Seriously though I avoid yellow and blue Bc that’s part of the color spectrum deer see. As for patterns I avoid pricey ones simply Bc camo patterns are for humans, not deer. Deer rely on their noses so the best camo for me is to hunt the wind no matter what I’m wearing.

I don't pay much attention to camo pattern unless I'm turkey hunting. Whether hunting for deer or turkeys, movement is the visual cue that will bust you most often.

My first pieces should arrive Thursday, can't wait to try it.
Dude. Its incomparable imo. I have fully enjoyed it and do not feel bad at all about the cost. My wife said, do we have to do this every year, and i said... not since I bought this. These are 10 year products no doubt.

I own every Mossy Oak pattern since the beginning of the company and some other odd patterns I’ve picked up here and there. No matter what pattern are what tree/foliage I hunt in my mind, it doesn’t match so I believe when you’re deer hunting that wind direction and movement are the most essential parts of hunting undetected.

I have browning hydro fleece coveralls, bibs and a jacket in mossy oak tree stand I’ve been wearing since ‘92. Love them, but if it isn’t cold enough for them here then the chances of me having on any two items in matching camo are pretty much nonexistent.
Sold a Browning hydro fleece jacket a couple years for almost the original price.Bought it around '94.

What?! Nobody's using woodland BDUs? Been my pattern for everything. The wife picks them up at the thrift store for and couple of dollars :)

ASAT for me. Most generally the leafy cover-up suit over whatever I need on under it depending upon the conditions. If you screw up and get caught moving, the deer seem to just look through you. It's unreal.

I wear Asat in 3d as well as the regular elite series. Im ready to change, not sure it matters. I really like Sitka elevated 2, but the price is crazy. I have a friend who can afford anything he wants, he chooses Kuiu. I asked his opinion about it, he said its quality stuff, but camo is meant to catch the hunter, not hide from the deer. Ive had times deer picked me out when I thought I was dead still and hidden. Ive had deer walk right under me when Im 12ft in a tiny tree thinking to myself this is the dumbest tree ever. Just really depends on the deer as to what level of hiding is needed. Just watched the guy on the hunting public shoot a nice buck in Iowa wearing a plaid flannel shirt that was green and black I think.

ASAT here too. Sad that first lite is no longer carrying the brand.

Sitka, I live in the " Granite State ". Blends in on the ground or in the air.
