(Wry grin) I am a redneck and a nerd... May try my hand at Turkey hunting this year, gonna scout as much as I can for next deer season. Spring and fall are great times to be in that place you are supposed to park cars but is now full of woodworking equipment, so I will play with my wood a lot. During the summer when it is too hot to be outside I will be inside 3d printing, crafting, and painting stuff for dungeons and dragons, and in between I have a ton of DIY ideas I want to test for saddle hunting.

Crawfish, Spearfish, and frog, I take my frogging more serious than my deer hunting.

Like many mentioned my deer season doesn’t really stop lots of scouting till next September.... turkey hunting as well.......raising cattle is my next biggest past time, I bought a farm 2 years ago and it’s a constant project trying to get it cleaned up one piece at a time.....I also dabble in wood work.

For me outside of deer season prep and other hunting, I love Trout fishing! The Little Red and the White rivers here in Arkansas are great for Browns and Rainbows. I spend a lot of time at the range also. My next endeavor is going to be long range shooting. I want to become proficient out to 1000 yards. I think this will be a fun hobby

Bowfishing, boating, and USPSA pistol with a little bit of 3gun mixed in. Reloading when I have time. Most importantly though, just spending time with my son outdoors. He's only 2, so we can make anything fun right now.

Enjoy that time with your son! It goes fast, seems like my son was 2 just yesterday. He moved out on his own when he was 18 but stayed close. We have been like best friends. This weekend we moved him to Louisiana for a new job. Never thought it would be this tough. Your outdoor time with him is precious

Hunting season turns into scouting season which turns into glassing and shining in the summer.

Musky fishing rates right up there with bowhunting for me except in fall I have a hard time giving up tree time. Also like to do some walleye fishing and camping. Bucks are always on my mind though no matter what I’m doing. It’s a year long obsession.

Used to read a lot as a youngster about legendary musky fishing in WI, is that still the case? Always captivated me getting wrapped up with one of those monsters. I've caught a few locally but nothing bigger than a large pike. Feel free to share pics...

I’m also beginning to try my hand at making some long bows. I’ve made a few board-bows and have been happy with em. @Swampman you should post some threads on what you’ve been making! Would love to learn a little

Motorcycles, motorcycle racing and bow hunting go together. When on season is ramping down, the other is ramping up. Those are my main interests. I also like to play with old tractors as well.

Lot’s of good musky fishing in WI. The history amd stories in the northwoods are indeed legendary especially around the Chippewa Flowage area. These days the true giants are swimming around Green Bay.

I caught a good number over the years in the northwoods but still trying to reach that magical 50” mark. My largest so far is 47”. Warning......once you get musky fishing in your blood it ruins you for all other types of fishing. It’s a major addiction. LOL
