It's just...a little crush... - Review of the JX3 Hybrid Saddle

When I’m trying to use it as a seat, the back wants to recline all the way to the ground. What’s the trick to get it prop you up?
I’m not talking when tethered to tree but on the ground.

Do you have the bridge loops connected to the loops on either side of the seat?

Thanks guys. I sent John a text and he sent me this pic and it answered all my questions! John is great, I have had a few questions and every time he takes time to call or text. Super helpful! I am more and more impressed w the hybrid every time I touch it!

I am a comfort guy, I will take comfort first all else second. This is the most comfortable saddle that I have hung from. I won’t use it every hunt but I already know for any sit longer than 4 hours I’m bringing the hybrid along. It’s not heavy on your back, I will attach my sticks or steps to it and go.

To completely honest I made this purchase with some serious reservations. I figured I could sell it easily if I had to, glad I made this purchase. I will use this for some of the turkey hunts coming up and get back to you guys.

I have not seen any hybrids being sold used. So that speaks loudly about customer satisfaction so far

Put a biner in both loops that is located below the biner that hold the bridge. Clip those biner to the loops on the front outer edges of seat then adjust the back straps to find your comfort zone

IF the seat was narrower I dont know how I"d keep myself from pulling the trigger...

It is a perfect width for a 36 waist and winter clothes.
Way better than your guidos

Thanks, I"m a 32" waist. Guess I just dont love how the seat sticks out wider than the pack frame. IF they were iven it just seems like it would be more strealine walking through the woods. But the reviews are really pushing me....

Another option for ground hunting...if you have any semblance of patience!

John has this in the works.

That’s funny because I made a stick to go on my diy version the other day.

This morning I tested out the Hybrid as a turkey seat. I found it so much more comfortable than the padded seat on my vest. Next hunt I will wear my vest but take off the padded seat and wear the hybrid for any one spot planned hunt. Run and gun I will stick with the vest and padded seat.

You can leave the biners connected and release the adjustment to the end of adjustment, and still fold and unfold the hybrid. I initially thought I would have to find the loops in the dark to connect, but since they stay connected it was quick, simple and easy to adjust for comfort!

Got this text yesterday. Getting excited to try it out. Thanks for all the information and advise on using the JX3.

Run n gun, the hybrid works just fine

My only reason for not taking it running and gunning is I like to use my sling while walking. So far in limited testing I don’t like how the gun/sling and hybrid go together. Where when I’m wearing just my vest nothing gets in the way of sling.
