The Flex is more comfortable for me so far, but like a 1a vs 1b, both are great. I will still use the Wraptor too, plenty of hunts to change it up! The Wraptor will especially come into play on long distance hunts to save a pound of carrying weight, but already working on plans for Wraptor 3.0 with an even lighter and simpler design, so may have that ready for this season.

I ordered my OG Kestrel two weeks ago. Website said 8-10 weeks so being a nudge, I called New Tribe and spoke with the sweetest lady in the world. Told her my season opens 9/1 and that I wanted to practice ASAP, so she bumped me from a ship date of 9/20 to a ship date of 9/6, “since it’s a standard Kestrel and I have a few sewn up in stock.” I recommend calling them, perhaps they can get you an OG sooner than a Flex. Also, she made it sound like they’re trying to give Kites away, for what it’s worth. I think they may be redesigning it somewhat for 2020, but that’s unconfirmed as far as I know.
Short answer: the Kestrel shouldn’t be as long of a wait as the Flex.

I've had my WE stepps for a little bit now, and I'll say this, you should definitely stretch your ropes out if you can leave them on a tree in your yard i would. speaking of which, i'm gonna head to my back yard and see if any of them came loose from my last positioning of them.

That's awesome man! But you should have kept that to yourself, now once that word gets out they're gonna get an influx of "My season starts soon can you bump me up" calls and everyone will get jammed up that way.

I ordered my flex on 7/21, they sent me an email saying it will be in process October 4. I was hoping I would get it before the start of season but since our bow season starts October 15 guess I will have to use my climber for opening day.

Don't be surprised if you get another email pushing it back. Pretty sure all the emails are automated. And expect another a week after your 1st extending it a couple more weeks. Hopefully you don't.

Thanks for the info, from looking at some of the other posts I was already expecting that. Hopefully it won't be too much longer, really looking forward to using it.
 
Any updates? I ordered june 4th and had shipping pushed back a few times now. Last week she said it should ship by the end of this week. Order number 4555

I emailed and asked if my order was still slated to ship on the 9th but didn't receive any reply.
