My preferred hookup as well. But you need to run a shorter bridge of short prusik/rope man to make it work.

I run like that quite a bit. I also have found that I hate butt cupping saddles. I’m back to the sit drag. Everything else cuts off ma legs.

Shows how we're all so different. I could never run my setup like that.
You forgot the hashtags
#TreeFacingHangon #ToHeckWithComfort
#SittingIsLazy #StandAllDay

Seriously though it’s different for everyone and every style. I really like sitting down. Sitting is so much more comfortable for me with my tether set just above eye height. I also prefer a ring of steps. After losing almost 70 lbs this off season I am able to rock a 24” bridge and it absolutely helps for shooting a bow.

I've been doing the same thing with my tether, running it just above nipple height. I had to go back to the ropeman and shorten my Mantis bridge to 20". Super comfortable, but would be difficult to pull off for the ROS guys.

@DaveT1963 I wear this about 16 hours a day five days a week.

It’s not that I’m totally stuck on crocs yet but sometimes you gotta let them breathe.
As long as you’re not plummeting to your death and are comfortable there is no wrong way to saddle hunt.

You just lost your croc bashing card. Enjoyed the CAYG video but I threw my phone when I seen this. Scared the heck out of me!

Yep - My preference for my bridge is 22-24 inches. I have my set up dialed in to where my ropeman is usually 2-3 inches from tree. It is so much easier to adjust and make a move if needed when it is chest high and prussic/ropeman is close to tree. Another thing I love about it is during last 30 minutes I rest/lay my bow on top of the bridge and that way I am ready to get into action if something sneaks up quickly.

Only down side to the lower tether is there's nowhere to rest your head for napping...... #sleepysaddlesits

Use the tree I do it all the time when i set up 2 hours before daylight. Just put my extra shirt/jacket right there and snooze away.
