My mom went to the hospital to get a heart valve added by a cather. It was a simple procedure. They added a pacemaker and the wire from the pacemaker punctured her heart and they inserted a drain. A cascade of problems ensued with 2 heart stoppages over a week and kidney failure. The new valve did operate perfectly. She was put on hospice a few days ago and died at 5:00 this morning. She could have lived a few more years without the new valve. She was fine a few weeks ago just feeling faint from time to time but never passed out. She was 88 years old.

Sorry for your loss. We went through kinda the same thing with my dad a year ago yesterday. Its not easy but I can tell you it gets easer with time.

Very sorry for your loss, my condolences to you and your family, the bj139 family will be in my thoughts and prayers

So sorry for your loss...I was a momma's boy and 11 years ago was one of my darkest days. While this won't help...I have been raised to believe in and honor God. I remember that when my mom suddenly passed...I went hunting...actually my wife forced me out of the house and handed me my bow. I'm sitting in the tree stand and see a nice buck off in a clearing in the woods. I had just finished a prayer to God and asked him to welcome a saint into his presence. When I finished my prayer, a ray of sunshine appeared on the buck and it seared that image into my brain. Here is this majestic animal and now it seems as though God is telling me she is at peace and my prayers were answered. I watched the buck walk off and said thank you to both God and the buck that God used...got down out of my stand and went home to be with my family.

You sir will be in my families prayers tonight and the days that come.
