Whew! What a read. I'm about to pull the trigger on a JX3. I started this season with a used Guidos and quickly sold it due to it being a sauna in warm weather. It looks like the JX3 fixed all of that. The reason I'm drawn to the Hybrid is it looks like a great meat hauler. I also use a LWHC, and it's just simply too wide for most packs. Has anyone hauled a quartered deer and a LWHC at the same time? Seems like I'd have to move the LWHC to the outside and keep the game bags inside. Think there's enough room for both inside? Thanks for all this great information, and kudos to @kyler1945 for these great videos here.
I’m fairly confident you will be very happy with the JX 3 if you go that route. It carries weight very comfortably, and while I have not packed out quarters I have loaded it down pretty good to see how it would carry. My plan when I do have some meat to pack is to strap my Lonewolf Hand climber as well as my small day pack to the outside while letting the game bags ride in between the back rest and the folded seat.
