I am not sure what the great attraction is for the utilibridge and triad bridge. With my limited experience the utilibridge on the phantom I am not sure I like it. It seems to get lumpy and really tight when weighting it. It still takes 2 hands to adjust. I would prefer the adjustable webbing type bridge that new tribe offers on the phantom. The comfort channels seem to kinda work a little bit I guess but I find the bridge wants to hop into a specific channel.

How is his comment useless? He has been in both saddles and just gave his opinion on which he prefers.

I guess it's not if the thread is asking for a simple vote. But I highly doubt anyone wants to make a decision off of a yes/no comment.
I apologise as my remark was snotty, I'm just tired of "most" everyone raving about the phantom without giving solid comparisons between two products. I'm very interested in both of these two saddles and am looking for people opinions about what makes one stand out from there other.

I like to try them all and sell some of them. But they are all different and have different pros and cons.. The Hybrid is my favorite but not for every situation. The Mantis was well marketed and may have disappointed some new saddle hunters because it is uncomfortable. They may not saddle hunt again. HIP PINCH>
The H2, flex, recon and kestrel are all comfortable IMO but have different features that are worth talking about. Apparently the Phantom is the best saddle out there... I guess time will tell. For the money the H2 or recon are comfortable in my opinion... and very economical. Reviews just point out the differences. New Tribes makes great saddles but as I said at a weight and cost penalty. Never tried a trophyline or Matthew Tompkins saddle.

I will have a phantom next week. I have paid for all my saddles so there are no bias opinions here.
I'm intrigued by the recon. If I was starting out, I'd probably give that one a go.

I received the H2 last week and the phantom today. I have not had enough time in either to make a fair decision yet but i will say they are equally comfortable and it will come down to small things in which way i decide to go. My initial thoughts are: i think the triad bridge on the h2 edges out the comfort channels on the phantom, the phantom linemens loops are awesome and i wish every saddle from here on out comes with them, the h2 linemens loops flat out suck, the leg strap hookups are better on the phantom as they stick out more to make for easier hookup. Once i get more time in each i will post some more findings but these are my initial thoughts. I will say they both are better in my opinion than the kestrel and mantis i had last season.

Buy both. Sell the one you don’t want. Since everyone is different what one likes another won’t. Only way to know for sure is personally sitting in both. Either saddle will sell on here in 5 min or less for exactly what you paid. You can have it sold before it even hits your CC bill lol.

Correct. I hear H2 is coming out with a mesh saddle. However it’s not the mesh vs cordura where the phantom wins. It’s the lineman’s loops, leg loops, and waist buckle.

The lineman's loops are small on the H2. The leg loops seem fine on the H2..if you use them. ... and if the phantom has that little belt that the mantis has... I know what I would choose. Explain the differences. Is the belt bigger now. Does it tighten or loosen easier. Explain.
Is it worth $100 extra for the financially challenged

Fair enough. I’ve never had my hands on a H2. I have had a lot of time in the Phantom. I like it way better than the Mantis and I like it better than the Kestrel. Those are the 3 saddles I’ve hunted out of over the last 3 seasons.

Nobody says whether they received free saddles or are Tethrd pros?
