It will function like a regular camera even if you don't do a data plan.

I've never been a big camera guy, but this has my interest.

What I really want is something like a gopro that I can leave in the woods in a place where I almost hung a stand, but decided to press on. I always wonder what's happening at those spots. Would be cool to be able to pull a small camera or two on your way back out and review timelapse photos to see what you missed.

You might be onto something there, I get the FOMS a lot (fear of missing sh*t) lol and would be interested in something similar

I guess you could use a GoPro on time lapse to take photos every minute or so...or even a trail camera but ..

This looks very similar to the Spypoint link cell camera's. I was on the fence about buying the Spypoint, they also have an app with cheap plans. Now reading this post I'm off the fence and wanting this Tactacam. @DanO they are sold out on your page how do I order one. One other question, does Tactacam have anything like the Spypoint Cell-Link to make any trail cam a cellular cam?

This is Tactacam's first trailcam correct? I know they do "action" cams. But that seems to be a very full-featured cam, especially with cellular. Wonder how other cam makers are looking at this...

This is their first trail camera, but there are other trail cameras out there that use some of their technology

I had asked about Tactacam having anything like a cell-link devise in my original reply. Converting any non-cell cam into a cell can. Not sure if anyone has any knowledge about that? Something to come out soon maybe?
