Just got my EWO Ultralight stick in and tried it out. Man this thing is the cats meow! What a nice stick. 1.6 pounds with the 1 step aider, zero flex when standing on it, digs into the tree like no ones business, almost too good. Highly recommend one of these for one sticking, or a whole set for traditional climbing sticks. They are pricey but you do get what you pay for here in my opinion. Nice job on these DanO!

It is my favourite stick for one sticking. Solid and light. And easy to add a cam cleat to.

Looks like something out of a magazine. @DanO should use it for marketing purposes.

They are definitely a sweet stick. I'm probably going to order some. I think these could be a step up from the beast sticks.

They are nicer than the beast stick. Nicer finish. Seems like the standoff is farther from the tree, so more foot room. They bite the tree hard but don’t cut you like a beast stick. They are likely stronger too because there’s no holes in the stick. They might be a touch lighter but I did not weigh them.

This is all subjective since I sold my beast sticks

The sewn webbing aider is perfect IMO. Easy on the foot and it stays open.

Also there is cheaper choice of EWO stick. No feather stick, different steps, standoffs, and no fancy finish

And you can have them NOW. And they are made in the USA.

For one sticking they are rock solid.

How well do the sticks stack?

In case anyone looks here later for mods to this stick or anything, I ended up taking off the stainless steel lock washers so that the lock nuts would fit on all the way. DanO thought this was a good idea too. I just like to “overbuild” my stuff but in this case I guess it was not the best idea.

They stack well but beast sticks stack in line. EWO sticks stack off set. That is an advantage for a beast sticks. But I one stick anyway.
If I wanted in line stacking I would make 24,22,20 inch sticks from EWO.

I love my EWO ultralight set. I put an OOAL scout on mine though. Going to try that this season. I used a predator last season but I didn't like it.

Anybody put a cam cleat on one of these sticks yet?? Looks like it would make a great stick for one sticking
