I actually have both and have yet to hunt out of my guido yet. Have actually thought about selling it.

I man used to carrying my summit or my millennium tree seat so either way I think this will be less cumbersome. Just watched a video on climbing with one stick and while that seemed like a pain in the rear, I did like the idea of adding loops to each stick. Also I have been looking at stealth steps. Anyone ever used them and are the junk?
I didn't say they were junk but I don't use them. There are better systems out there that I prefer. The plastic is loud but you can avoid it making noise by being careful. I never could get them rock solid tight unless I used a boat buckle or ratchet strap. But they do grip tight enough to climb the tree, just not made to lean off the edges like we do as a platform. I don't like the strap system. I thought I'd use it for permanent stands but rather just put up some metal sticks that I already have in those situations. Bottom line is they are still in the box in the garage. Would make a nice gear bucket strapped to the tree next to a ladder stand or something.

I thought about getting the stealth steps but decided to go with the wild edges. I was told the SS would not get tight on the tree. It took me a little getting use to but I now love my wildedge steps.

Thanks, I will look at those. Was thinking I may go with sticks now and add a rope step or two to each one to keep from having to carry so many.

I have a GW its a great saddle. You can sit for hours in comfort. Butch is a great guy to deal with. If you get a GW and have any questions he will give you the advice you need. You will not be disappointed getting a GW.

I am definitely hyped to get it. Shipped yesterday. I also bid on an aero but I doubt it will be accepted. I wonder how issues will be handled post retirement if I have a problem. The Wild edge steps do look incredible. Going to the buckmasters expo this weekend so I am waiting to see what is there before I purchase steps.
