No dice this morning, but I’m back at it this evening. On some private permission that backs up to some public (I can see the markers). It’s a buddies duck hunting hole and the deer are eating too much of his corn. Orders are to shoot as many deer as possible (and legal). Got a perfect set up too. Multi tree with a trunk to lean into behind me. Should be nice super comfy sit.

Ten pointer down. Set up a 3 after a long hike in, most of it is up hill. I was trying to cool down and airout the sweat when I heard something running of to my right. I finally laid eyes on it and knew it was a nice one. I grabbed my bow and he was already at 20 yards. As I drew back I remembered I had my pin set at 30 so I put it on the heart and smoked him in the spine. Didn't go 20. Hahaha. 15 min on stand. #publicland. #personalbest.

Well, I got a shot tonite at the Big Eight..not sure if I hit him...so we decided to wait till morning to look. After the shot he ran out 30 yards and just stood in a cut bean field then walked away really slow...couldn't fined my arrow...so I'm going to have a long nite..keep you all posted

No dice again. Although there was decent sign, I didn’t see a single deer. That’s been my story recently. This is probably my last hunt before baby, so it will be a couple weeks before I get back at it.

Well keep at it...im heading home this morning...the lock down has started in ohio...saw a 160 class buck locked down with a doe this morning and nite time trailcam photos on my lease have been none existent
