You might be a saddle hunter if...

That’s all good if you just get out there. How do you handle that if you get one?? My buddy gave me this deer?? Lol

When my daughter was born I used 2 weeks PTO. Most of the first week we were in the hospital. The second week her family came over every night so I went hunting in the evenings. She still brings it up. But I shot a buck.

I got four weeks off after my first was born during early deer season. My mom would come watch the baby, my wife would sleep, and I’d go deer hunting—it was awesome. Now my second is due at the start of the upcoming turkey season. October would have been ideal, but this ain’t bad!

Hang it, then go out on a "quick evening hunt" or something and be successful in like 15 minutes.

LEGEN...

... Wait for it ...

...DARY!

If you started saddlehunting with the idea that you were going to revolutionize every aspect from climbing the tree to the saddles themselves with your diy magic and innovative thinking only to buy extremely expensive gear made by people who knew what they were doing.

You once said/claimed (naive? Excuse?) something like "in the long run saddle hunting is cheaper because you only need one stand", but now spend several hundred dollars a year just on rope.
Wow. This is what pulled me in. I was gonna save money...
