Thanks will do. That is one of the reasons for this post been a member forever but never made post so I can’t reply to classifieds lol.Keep an eye on the classifieds. I tried doing a couple DIY platforms and finally bit the bullet and bought a mission. All the DIY things "worked" , but lacked. The mission is awesome.
You did an amazing job on that. You have to have some machining background right? Here is two I made. One is with Shop Rider Platform and the other is made from 3/8X5X5 6061 aluminum angle. Both are attached to 1/8 X 1.250 sq 6061 tubing
with large size Cam Cleats 500# rating.
I work in maintenance so have aluminum laying around all over we will see I will post something if I come up with itUnless you can cast and weld aluminum, I don't think you're going to find the value you think you're going to find in DIYing that piece of gear. By the time you buy the components necessary for a bolt-together option you're not going to be that far off from the cost of a good platform, and you won't be close to the function.
I like that more then most I have seen just for the fact I feel the function of it is highIf you can weld you can about make anything you want. Here's my perch clone
That’s is a much better price then what a new one is. Did you use aluminum? Not even $8 in material n 2hrs of my time
Nice I really like that one. I may copy your idea if your ok by that?Yes sir
Mines a clone go ahead. That's what I didNice I really like that one. I may copy your idea if your ok by that?
I really appreciate that man thank youI'll find my notes from when I made it n pm you it will help you get started.

I have kicked around a bunch of them I think the theory of how the perch works is a good oneHave you given thought on making a Perch shaped like a Ridge Runner?
I have a RR and it's great on a tree...
