Found this today and I know he is well respected in the YouTube hunter world.
Let us know what you think and how it compares. I never thought about it as trash, I just was suspicious about paying for a product that was not available as advertised at that time. I’m thrilled to see it’s available on the app stores now and can’t wait reading about all out all the awesome features and successful hunts based on the given predictions. Good luck this season.Apparently it is now released on the app stores. I’m going to try it out. I see some thinks it’s trash. Others seem to be intrigued. I can already tell it isn’t trash for sure. I run OnX and will run them side by side and see what happens. I’m sure if the hunting public or other well known hunting groups with social media followings start using it and talking about it, it will get more popular.
I don’t understand how if something just came out and people haven’t even tested it out how they can already know it’s awesome or garbage? We all try out saddles and platforms and packs. Apps are the same to me. I don’t use certain ones and I use others.
May as well try this out this season.
The free trial is separate from the paid one, if you paid for the yearly sub then you shouldn't have any issues.I like the product I listen to the podcast of the guy who created the software I think it's the best on market. I highly recommend it. Here's the but I had a lot of problems with billing issues I paid for the subscription and then it says my trials ends in 9 days tried contacting last year this year its alot drama.
Just jump in. You could be helpful.Appreciate the comments from those who've taken the plunge. Still on the fence....
Maybe I misunderstood, but
I think that's how it is as first. I should be locked into 14.99 annual per the diy sportsman
discount. Maybe 19.99 after the discount to renew. Way cheaper, for now, then onX or basemap.
I didn't see an option to enter a discount code when I signed up via the app. So it says I'm at $29.99. Did you sign up via the website or the app? Thinking of cancelling and signing back up with the code if I can get it to work
yeah I did and that is where I got it from. I think it is a website vs app issue for signing up.Maybe watch the new video diy put out & see if he mentions the discount again. Can't remember. Also, maybe the online part let's you enter a discount VS the phone app. Once you have a account it let's you log into the phone app.
I had problems with billing last year too. I list to the podcast the man who made use to hunt down terrorists, And listen to all the details he put into the software it's a excellent product foresure. The free trial is separate from the paid one, if you paid for the yearly sub then you shouldn't have any issues.
If you zoom in far enough to the middle of the property, it might show up. It's always worked for me.Is anyone else having an issue with property owners showing up ? Sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t for me.
Me, personally: no; no; no. As a weekend warrior type hunter, I’m gonna hunt when I can. Period. I think the weather related journaling is cool, and something that is useful to me. I previously kept a journal on my phone in notes (iOS). Other than that, I’m a little underwhelmed. I’m gonna keep my subscription for a year and see what they add feature-wise. But so far, I’m not sold that it’s any different or better than the other apps. I personally find the interface challenging, for instance I took a track the other day and cannot figure out how to delete it! Also the lack of highlighted public land makes it tough. All those who have purchased the plan, before or after the release of the app, can you provide feedback or a review? Did you go hunting based on the predictions and did you see more deer than you have before using it? Did it change your hunting times? Did it make you go when you wouldn't have gone before? I know many questions, many possible answers. Thank you, very much appreciated.
