Got some outdoor testing done this morning before the rain rolled in and so far I'm satisfied with the results of my tuning change. Prior to shooting I did swap out the 240 insert for the 250 on my EZ-V but made no other adjustments to the sight.
Here's the first four shots at 20 yards, 3 fletched and 1 bare shaft.
Again at 20 yards, this time with a fletched, bare shaft and fixed blade (Kudupoint and green nock).
Confident that they were all hitting the target and I wasn't going to send a flier into the woods I backed up to 30 yards and sent them again...
Decided to send one at 50 yards to see if I would need to make a left/right sight adjustment...
I'm happy with the results and the arrows flew straight to the target without any sideways movement. Keep in mind that I'm using an EZ-V sight with 52 year old eyes so it's difficult to get the exact sight picture and aim point each time, even more so once I get further than 30 yards. These groupings work for me and I'm confident the deer won't notice either, lol.
