Sure it’s something to consider. That is what I did. I will say I very rapidly replaced the ropes with smaller ropes.Looking at saddles I see a lot of companies offer kits that includes everything, are they something to consider?
Shorter or thinner?Sure it’s something to consider. That is what I did. I will say I very rapidly replaced the ropes with smaller ropes.
Thinner.Shorter or thinner?
I’m pretty set on the Cruzr XC if I end up getting one but thanks anyways.Thinner.
I have a new saddle ordered. I may can make you a deal once I know when the new one will get here. Probably several weeks. PM if you want to discuss.
The problem with that is being new to saddles and not knowing much I don’t think I could make good choices.Honestly, I would surf the classifieds here and put a kit together that way. Might cost a slight bit more, but no one kit is 100%.
I see that people are on the platforms by the balls or arch of their feet, it seems like that would have to be hard on the feet after a while.
I’m pretty set on the saddle (Cruzr XC) unless I see something different that looks better for me, owning a custom boat canvas shop I can make needed alterations. As far as ropes, carabiners, and Ropeman I’m good. The platform is an open question but I would have to have one that has an adjustable lean and on the larger size.
I still have one big issue, hanging from a single rope, I’m just not confident I can get past that.
On thing that comes to mind is when I fell with a rock climbing harness, I could not believe how much control and maneuverability I had. It’s a fear factor that I would probably get over, maybe .The hanging from a single rope issue is understandable but think about it this way. You’ve already fallen and been caught. Much safer than sitting on a tree stand with slack in your system.

I just seen that and it would take care of that, I also like the larger platform.Cruzr Seeker platform totally eliminates that

Get a Mission and never look backI see that people are on the platforms by the balls or arch of their feet, it seems like that would have to be hard on the feet after a while.
At 5.4 lbs without the strap and buckle that’s weighty.Get a Mission and never look back
