How come every hunter on tv,yt, and ig rides a bike with the seat extremely low. I know they aren’t really pedaling but damn it’s really uncomfortable to sit with your knees at your chest.

I think it's done so their stubby legs can touch the ground if they get off balance. I don't set my seat that low but it's lower than I would have it if I were pedaling a regular bike.

That's why having a dropper is so useful. The seat is at proper height for correct pedaling, but can be lowered when you step off the bike and when you get into a sketchy spot like mud so you can kick you legs out to prevent a fall over. Mine also doubles as a suspension seat post. It's not a ton of suspension, but enough to take the hard impacts outta it.

For anyone that has ever Mountain biked, you appreciate a dropper post. For those who haven’t, you need to go ahead and get one.
It might save you a bum shoulder going downhill on some loose terrain, haha.

It makes it easier to get on and off of going to the deer processor...

Dropper post are well worth it. I just don’t believe these guys use the product since they don’t know basic set up. Kind of goes against the personality of most hunters.

I watch some “mainstream” hunting show the other day for the first time in a while and it was obvious they hadn’t put their bikes to the test.
It was for commercial purposes only for sure.
