My fellow Virginians,
In case you were unaware, there is a tracking group on Facebook that offers free tracking services for game animals in Virginia. All you have to do is join and if you need an animal tracked follow the instructions. There is a handler list under the announcements section, not every county is covered but pretty close. Here’s the link, hope it can help someone out. If had known about their services two years ago I wouldn’t have lost the largest buck I’ve ever shot.

I discovered the group after I lost the biggest deer of my life. Unfortunately I'm not on FB any longer.

Wow, that’s incredible. They should charge for multiple offenders. I can‘t help but think people would intentionally take marginal shots knowing they have a free back up plan. I’d hope not, but I can‘t help but think…

How do we get in touch with these guys if we don't have Facebook? I need a tracker tonight

this is an awesome service, the use of dogs to track wounded game should be legal in every state

edit: it seems in states like mine, wv, with poaching problems and a lack of trust in hunters that they do not allow this...it's a shame

It’s that season again. Bumping for my fellow Virginians. If you don’t use Facebook but need the service reach out to me and I’ll jump on for you and put you in contact with a tracker in your area.
any idea if any of these guys ever come up to Maryland?
