Do we have anybody out here using these?

Any of you built something like this?

I bought a double step and I've had it awhile but tested it out this morning and I think it might replace a ROS. It's smoother, less boot pressure, pretty darn easy to shoot 360 with good form, packs smaller, is quieter, lighter. I thought this would be a waste of money and bought it on a whim a couple drinks in because I was curious and this may be a better mousetrap. The stand guys will really make fun of us for this one but that's about the only downside I see. The buckle system is a bit rough I might use amsteel and a trucker's hitch, but that's all I see for mods. Let me know what you think and if you've used them.

@redsquirrel yeah I haven't seen any reviews, zero posts anywhere, no testimonials. It's comparably priced to rock climbing aiders but I haven't had good luck with those for hunting, and you only need one not 3 or 4.

We need to talk one of the influencers into spending their YouTube money on a full set up.

Ehh, I wouldn't trust what they say anyway. They're all being paid off by someone.

Concept looks good. Not sure about the practical world. Also lot of guys do not like there stuff moving if the wind blows. I'm not a fan and moving aiders like that. Looks like a lot of movement potential on the bigger stuff. I am mildly interested in the top part. I have tried to replicate what they have going there a few times with out much luck..but haven't spent a whole bunch of time. May study that some more and see what I can come up with.

Made a DIY version of my own to try to make it smaller/more packable. My tree strap stirrups were not easy to get feet into. Haven’t given up yet but the season has started now so not as much time for these kinds of projects.

I think this can work as a climbing system if you get the foot loops right for easy climbing and stability - it is a long aider which means the bottom steps are very prone to kick out…

I ordered a 6' aider yesterday. Should be here when I get back from SD next week. My plan is to climb with that in place of my one stick and then rappel out. I think the design improves the kick out issue. I'll follow up as I get more time with the system. I did my second sit with the foot loops as a platform replacement and I really like that part of the system at least. The wide seat belt webbing makes it pretty easy to navigate, but I'm not wearing heavy winter boots yet.

Interesting. Let us know what you think of the aider.

With all long aiders, I think using your lineman's belt properly is key to lateral stability. If you are 1-sticking with it then that would mean you would use both your LB and your tether/rap rope. What I have been playing with is very similar to weldabeast's method of climbing with two of the double-stirrup treestraps and one aider, essentially leapfrogging your way up the tree. My hope is that it feels safe and stable enough to only use my LB with this method. Did some work on my DIY version of it over the weekend and think I have the double-stirrup treestraps nailed, now working on a more compact climbing aider.

I like the multi step aider since you can put your foot sideways. Wondering about using it with Treehopper steps.

Whatever happened to that other movable strap climbing system teased this summer? Sladder, or something like that? They seemed similar, but I liked how the Sladder (if that was it) moved up as a whole rather than leaving straps behind to blow in the breeze.

This makes me think of why not using horse saddle stirrups - for aiders, climbing, sitting, etc.

He’s trying to bring it to the market. So who knows if and when.

Anyone try the aider yet? In the video it said you could use it with climbing sticks, I assume using a continuous loop possibly? Definitely interested in these but no reviews, nothing on YouTube either.

At 3.2 lbs for the Full Anytree system it was hard not to order.... I ordered one. Hopefully it will come in before Ohio. For me it takes the place of spikes which I am not supposed to use on public and prob a little too old for anyway.
Finally a guinea pig! Please let us know what you think :)

Ok great, I emailed the company about using on a climbing stick and any possibility of them doing a quick video. All they said was it’s possible using a continuous loop.
