I just got the Platow pack and the mini seeker. I'm concerned about the teeth on the platform ruining the top of the platow pack when hung from the two shoulder straps. Does anyone carry their platform "upside-down" so the teeth point up and the front edge of the platform rests on the pack?

That looks like a cover for the standoff on the post. That would be pointing away from my body and in no contact with the pack. I'm talking about the teeth on the platform itself. Maybe I'm seeing the picture wrong?
This pics is of a stand-off cover, but Kydex will work on the teeth as well.
I've got some leather cut out to make a 'sheath' for the teeth on my Rebel Fab stick. I'd hate to rip the upholstery in my truck, or my pack.
I did this on a treestand using 1," rubber hose. I used red in case I dropped it.
