I have searched and searched but can’t seem to find exactly what I’m looking for, mainly the latter pair of pants out of the two, so decided to post on here to see what everyone else wears. I’m looking for two pairs of pants for this coming season, I really prefer the olive/sage colors but open to others. I’m looking for a lightweight but also quiet early season pant, and also a mid season pant which I would prefer to have some sort of lining and some sort of wind blocking abilities. What’s everyone else wearing that meets this criteria?

511 tatical pants with the knee pad inserts. Great early season pant in solid color options- kangaroo brown (close to coyote mil color) army green, or black. The pockets are easily accessible and the knee pads work for short stints on the ground or short stints sitting in your saddle knees to the tree.

Hard to beat the wrangler flex stuff for lightweight for the price. It's a bit hit or miss with sizing though. I've had a couple dunces, but at $20 a pair or whatever they are now, they are every bit as good as the same offerings from the sitkas, first lites, eddie bauers, and pranas of the world, all of which I own. All basic polyester I don't see much to gain, pretty interchangeable.

First Lite Corrugates are great.
Wrangler stretch are great.
Huge fan of Sitka Mtn Pants, but sage isn’t offered to my knowledge.

Seriously, do not overlook the Wranglers. I’m hooked on the damn things, wear em damn near every day. $25 ish.

Thanks guys, definitely going to look at the wranglers , seems they are hard to beat. Anyone found any windproof/fleece lined solid color pants for late season?

Another vote for wrangler outdoor performance cargos. Best pants on the market. Hunting, working outside, church, going out with the wife, you name it. Look good. Fit great. Tough as nails.

They even come in camo if you prefer.

Best all around for me are the Eddie Bauer Guide pants . 2 pair unlined and 2 pair fleece lined, then get 2 pair of zip off long Johns , one heavy , one light.
fleece lined are my go to for just kicking around during the winter months.
if I were smart that’s all I would need other than bibs for below 30*F.
Colors like Kuiu “Ash” and a few others would make me feel stealthy but I’m reluctant to pay $100+ for 5% different poly material.
I’m thin and the wranglers fit me weird.
I find the biggest difference in the above $100 options are hip zips and leg openings and/ or fit around / in boots. I have a pair of first lite, under armor RR, kings camo, I was gifted or bought on a 50% off sale- but the previously mentioned brands are going to be just fine for both reading on the internet and the deer woods.

Wrangler Khaki style pants, there are a variety of colors. You can hunt in them or wear them to work, and doesn't break the bank if their trashed.

I bought a couple pair of the Eddie Bauer fleece lined pants in gray and brown for hunting. Super comfortable and warm. Ended up using them with a light merino base layer for a snowboarding trip. With my heavier base layer, I think I could wear these down in single digits for treestand hunting.
Also, to second everyone else, they Wranglers are great for early season or just knocking around the house....

Agree with everyone else about the wranglers, they're a great value at around $25. I wear them for work every day during the warmer months, and the 4 pairs I bought over a year ago are still going strong.

No experience with these yet, but outdoor research has a bunch of pants (and other stuff) on sale right now for 50+% off. Code EXTRA10 gets you another 10% off of sale items. I grabbed a few different pants to try, at around $35-45 a pair, with free shipping and returns.

If money were no object, I'd have a drawer full of stone glacier pants. Bought a pair of their De Havilland pants on Rokslide for cheap, and they've spoiled me. Really want to try their new 206 pants, but can't justify spending $170 on them. That's a lifetime supply of the wranglers...

I like the 511 tactical pants. You can find them for around $25 on ebay.
For another $5 the Prana Stretch Zions are my new goto favorite.

I'm with @TreeCreep. I tried to like the stretch wranglers but they were one of the worst fitting pants I have ever tried on. Sucks too because that price point is nice!!

If OR has a sale going on the Ferossi (sp) is a really light stretchy pant and a little better fit for me than the Prana.

I'm wearing some of the Wranglers right now at work. They are prone to snags and I have some stitching coming undone but for the price, hard to beat. I have some Badlands that are nice but a little on the noisy side. Love my Eddie Bauer guide pants (for work not hunting).

I have a pair of Propper OD green pants that I picked up at a goodwill. Lots of pockets and even knee pad inserts. They have held up well
