Took them home with you kinda sticks?

haha negative, that would be too easy. “Shipping to come soon” I was impressed though. They admitted that they essentially pooped the bed with it, but that everything was /is now on track and shipments are starting, and production is non stop. Also, for that are big, made in the good ole USA.

I venture they are going to sell a boatload this weekend at that price.

What's the deal with "the lightest sticks on the planet just got lighter"

Gen 4?

Even “lighter on your wallet” at 299.99 is what they’re getting at.

Don't they have any product feature spots? Oh well. Gotta reserve your place in line now before you actually know, and all are sold out. lol. What a world.

Platforms were impressive, imo, which is just that, the sticks were very much not. Interesting innovation, but I don’t know if they’ll hold up.

Did you get to stand on the platform?

If so, did you find the traction noisy?
Could you turn around on the platform (& your foot size)?

Thanks.

Checked out the arsenal stuff today at the show, the platforms are really nice, I would picked one up but DanO got my money for an ultimate one stick so I will be ditching platforms entirely this season.

Arsenal had an aider there I haven't seen anything on yet, it's pretty interesting. Wish I would have got a pic but it was too crowded when I was on that side of the booth and I had to escape

Their stick with the cork and push pin things is built very well, too many moving parts for my taste, but a really cool design overall. The sticks are pretty light and lock together well. The guy I talked to explained what was going on inside of them and those push pins aren't carrying the load, but they definitely make some sound when they engage. It was pretty easy to stop by plugging the holes with your finger and thumb as the pins popped through to soften the snapping sound.

Everything I saw from these guys was built well, solid quality, looking forward to seeing what else they come out with in the future.

Yeah, that thing. My guess is guys who are already comfortable with aiders won't like it, but guys who aren't comfortable with aiders will feel more comfortable with it. Kinda gives you the benefit of an aider with less risk of a kick out. Its not for me, but I like their ingenuity.

So that aider platform thing is your bottom step…… looks like it’s not moveable with it lashed around the tree but an innovative and light way to extend your climb height without something flapping in the wind at the bottom of the tree. That’s cool!

So three sticks and three of these things and you’re lighter and higher and not six full sticks lighter on your wallet either…. I gotta say, I’m kind of intrigued.

I felt like the cleat was kinda clunky, I was very surprised by that. That's what I liked the most, until I tried it. I also thought that while very cool, the tip part was kinda hard to fold down. I think I just needed to be rougher with it and would have worked smother. Tiny little buttons you gotta squeeze in to let it Pivot. Super light, fantastic finish. Seemed pretty small but I didn't stand on it, they were packed the whole time

- latitudes cleat was a clear winner to me, for what that's worth

Is it plastic with grip tape?

I actually dont know what the material was for sure but pretty sure it was aluminum.

Yeah, I wear 10.5 shoes and was wearing sneakers at the show. The RZR felt a little small due to how shallow it is. I thought it was just big enough to get my feet on, something to stand or lean on, but not big enough to stand and turn on. The magnum looks a lot bigger than the regular one, but wasn't much deeper. That said the extra width made a big difference vs the smaller size, turnability on the magnum felt a lot like the standard predator platform feels. I didn't notice any noise from the traction but the shoes I wore have smooth traction similar to converse chuck taylors.
