Cool! What a unique way to present that nice buck! I saw a taxidermy oriented you tube channel on a mount almost exactly like this. Wonder if it was yours? Very cool!!

The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. No it wasn’t mine, I saw this way to mount a buck several years ago on the web somewhere and I now have two bucks mounted this way! Just a way to mix it up a bit from the traditional shoulder mounts!
I love pack mounts! Thing is, of all the people I’ve showed pictures to, non of them like them. They also don’t hunt out of saddles lol.
I had a friend tan the hide and do the head mount and I then fixed up the pack and tied it all up myself. I also did my buck this way on a wooden frame I built from old barn lumber! I’ll post a picture of him as well!
