Cool! What a unique way to present that nice buck! I saw a taxidermy oriented you tube channel on a mount almost exactly like this. Wonder if it was yours? Very cool!!

No it wasn’t mine, I saw this way to mount a buck several years ago on the web somewhere and I now have two bucks mounted this way! Just a way to mix it up a bit from the traditional shoulder mounts!

I had a friend tan the hide and do the head mount and I then fixed up the pack and tied it all up myself. I also did my buck this way on a wooden frame I built from old barn lumber! I’ll post a picture of him as well!
