I would say the company is done, I don’t think you will see ODIN making products again. The product, you might see again. Is the company done or are they hoping to start manufacturing again?
Thanks,
Boswell

Could one use the pivot steps that of which come on the XOP sticks on 1/16" 6061 metal? Since they have a sturdy metal bracket and bolt instead of just one bolt like lone wolf, I assume they might be able to work. I know it would add weight but I really like the steps and features
That is pre "upgrade" though. The sticks I have are upgraded and have the extra bolt.
It’s both.Just curious if this is a guess or if you know something specific?
I cut some aero lites down to two steps... 16 inches apart and put a cam cleat on it... and drilled holes in the post. The still weigh 2.3 pounds.
Muddy sticks are heavy. But if you want a more pack-able stick and something modified that you all ready own go for it. With a long aider you will not sacrifice any height and you will be under 7 pounds to go 24 feet if you climb like me.
You have a very solid stick even with holes in it and you have folding steps. They weigh less than muddy pros but are shorter by I think 4 inches.
In my case I did not cut out the middle step I cut off the bottom step area.
If you put some lone wolf stand off's on that stick you would lose 160 g or about 1/3 of a pound and would get your sticks under 2 pounds. If stuck to a versa button instead of a medium cam cleat and used 6 mm amsteel you would drop another .1 pounds... That is not a bad option if you want to save money and have the sticks already.
Thx for info.I cut some aero lites down to two steps... 16 inches apart and put a cam cleat on it... and drilled holes in the post. The still weigh 2.3 pounds.

Thx for great info. Just trying to brainstorm. I noticed the step bracket is kind of welded on there so can’t cut down and move up bottom step. So that kind of messed up my plans.I cut some aero lites down to two steps... 16 inches apart and put a cam cleat on it... and drilled holes in the post. The still weigh 2.3 pounds.

So you can get 3 sticks that weigh about 6 pounds with folding steps. With these changes.
You can still shorten it to 16 inches and put a 6 step aider on it to get over 7 feet per stick anyway.Thx for info.

Tapped out holes in my lone wolf sticks I've been modifying 7/16" holes on one inch centers total package came out to 1.8 pounds I am completely satisfied with this for myself now I just got to make 3 more and wrap them in stealth strips.

Nice, Did you cut down the length of the stick too. Factory LW sticks are 30". Also, did you cut holes in the other directions too, staggered between the ones shown here?
