    Here's how the Aerohunter Kestrel did it. One side of the bridge was tied to one bridge loop, the other attached with a carabiner to the other bridge loop. That's an eye & eye friction hitch connecting the bridge to the carabiner. A prusik loop will work, too.

    Hanging at height with madrock

    I climb on a tether with a Kong KISA, then switch to the rappel line and Madrock at height. I tie a figure eight on a bight a couple feet below the Madrock and clip it into the carabiner as a "gotcha loop" in case the Madrock fails.
