    It’s tough man! Last time I did it I ended up shooting my next 3 birds at like 15 yards because I didn’t wanna do it again. This situation was extra dumb because they were relaxed as can be. No indication they Wouldn’t have come another 10 yards.

    I’ve heard of “consistency” issues with them but that’s any load that is loaded in large quantities. I shot them and they didn’t hold a candle to apex loads for me. Could have just been the wrong setup though!

    When does your season come in? The best way is to listen for them In likely areas early in the morning. Or do some foot work and find sign. Tracks, scratching and so on. Or even could try in the evening to roost some. You sound like you’re onto the right idea just gotta make it happen!
