    Need Advice on the Endgame

Unless you have private land with lots off deer on it I think you are misunderstanding what bowhunting is. Bowhunting is hard, regardless of what you see on YT and hunting shows. To be fair to the TV guys most won't show you the effort or the time they put in either. The other day I watched a...

Best option to silence/reduce noise on carabiners??

I've used vet tape and after some time it because a pain. It comes off and doesn't handle the elements. My next idea is to try large heat shrink tubing.

    Gear you liked/disliked 2023

LIKES -Scentlok saddle jack and pant with base layers. Good down to 40 without anything else. Very comfortable and the pockets are in the right place. -Worksharp. Great for my hunting knives and two blade broad heads. -Halo range finger. I've used it for years now and it works great. -Rocky...

Spartan Forge Platform Now Offers LIDAR

I remember when Spartan started, they took money for the development and put a release date that didn't happen for months. When the app finally came out it was about as sad as Apple Maps 1994. So they made more promises that did not turn out to be true. Truth is, I was invested from the...

I've used both and could not really tell a difference. That being said I changed all my rope to 1/2. It is much easier to work with and much stronger.

    SAVANNA AERO QUICKSTRIKE COVERALL Review

I have an old coverall that is kinda like the same thing. It's nice because you can wear shorts and t-shirt then just put it on when you get out to the field. The problem I'm having is the places I hunt are so vegetation heavy that I need some heavy duty pants or I'll be cut up all day due to...

Saddle Longevity and safety my .02

Your ropes should be replaced at least once every 3 years or sooner. A lot depends on the rope and how much you use it obviously. 10mm rope to me is not a good option as it is way too small and just doesn't have the strength or life of a 1/2 rope. Memory is when the rope retains a shape, or...

Saddle Longevity and safety my .02

I purchased a Latitude Method when they first came out. I got the no metal version. At the same time I purchase a Notch two panel arborists saddle for less than half the cost of the Latitude. After two seasons I've noticed that the Latitude 10mm tether and lineman rope have both developed a...
