    Another DIY e-bike

I would recommend updating braking levers before switching to disc brakes (get out as much slop as you can and get a more responsive/more comfortable braking experience) ...As far as rim brakes go, the v brakes you have should hold up fine, just keep a close eye on those pads. Very nice setup!!

    Grigri plus and oplux

I am pretty sure the gri gri is designed to do that. The caming action only activates on sliding rope. In a rock climbing situation, the belayer is ideally engaged at all times and brakes a falling climber. But in an unfortunate event they get knocked out from falling rock or off of their perch...

Cheap new tree pad for knees

Has anyone tried paintball knee pads. I know it isn't the cheapest option, but i would think you if you can dodge, dip, duck, dive, and dodge in them all day you might be able to get away with them in the tree This however looks super comfortable, well made and as you said cheap. Very nice

    First DIY saddle.

I just finished some final touches on my own "sitdragmantis" Mashup and I had similar yet opposite issue. I felt a little too much support in the middle seat portion. I feel this is because the sitdrag is too small of a footprint for my rump. But I did a "long" sit in my yard with my rock...
