    New and improved jx3

Has anyone done the Gen2 improvements to there Gen1? Thread location? I ordered the JX3 right before they announced the Gen2 and some of the improvements seem nice. Don't wanna drop another $400 on the gen2 when my gen1 hasn't hardly been used.

    Live from the saddle 2020

1.) Tree size, the one im in now is about 25-30in in diameter. only gives me about 270 deg of rotation. It also makes the spacing on a ROS awkward. Its hard to push off from the tree to release the whale tale. 2.) Securing the ROS. I used a common strap with push release and i cant get it tight...

    JX-3 Info for New Users

@dlist777 Thanks for the awesome idea! Got my JX3 this summer and have tried multiple different bags/fanny pack combos but none of them seemed to function as easily as I hoped. Convinced the wife to let me use her sewing machine yesterday and made these bad boys. The larger one will hold my...

Anyone switch back to using a whisker biscuit?

Do you mean QAP? Thats the drop away I am currently using. One of the shooters at my local range said some of my arrows have a big fishtail to them. I wonder if thats my problem. Sent from my SM-A515U using Tapatalk

Anyone switch back to using a whisker biscuit?

At the end of last season, I decided to make the switch to a drop away rest. I'd been shooting a whisker biscuit since picking up archery and thought the benefits of a drop away were worth the investment. Since making the switch to the rest my accuracy has gone out the window. Where I was...

    Hunting near Shooting Range??

The area is downrange from the shooters. While I was scouting you could definetly hear the bbs raining down in the woods. The huntable area is probably 500yards plus from the nearest clay stand. Sent from my SM-A515U using Tapatalk

    Hunting near Shooting Range??

Over the past few weeks i've been looking for a new public hunting spot closer to home. One of the areas I scouted is full of deer sign and has several different stand opportunities. The only drawback is that the public land butts up against a trap shooting range. Has anyone had experience...

    SE Wisconsin Public Hunting areas

Attention Wisc. Hunters: I'm new to the Wisconsin area and was wondering if anyone has suggestions about public land access around Milwaukee. Im trying to locate a few spots closer to home, so that I can do an evening/morning hunt a couple times during the work week. The private land I hunt is...

    JX3 Tree setup

Looks like I need to experiment more with the tether height. Any recommendations on ROS systems?

    JX3 Tree setup

All, Thanks for the advice. I definitely think not having a ROS is where im seeing some of my issue. I had just been using the top of my last stick to maneuver and getting more than 30 degrees of rotation was a challenge. I think ill also need to adjust my tether height around. Im a bit on the...
