    Central Kentucky has some great areas. There's a mix of zone 1 and 2 counties. You may want to consider lodging and proximity to stores for supplies. There's some good lakes and rivers there as well as some good public hunting. Backing up to Mammoth Cave would be nice. Beautiful country.
