    Used crossbow price?

@Spartan Thanks this is what I was thinking would be the case and dad doesn’t want me to sell for less than a certain price which I don’t think is realistic so I’ll just have to give it back to him and save for a bow myself.

    Used crossbow price?

Hello my father gave me a crossbow as a gift (he upgraded) and while I enjoy it I can’t hunt with it here in Florida during archery season. I was looking to maybe sell/trade it to help me purchase a compound bow so I could extend my hunting time. It’s a ten point 6 point series maverick hp with...

Lineman’s rope frayed is it okay?

It is only used for climbing up the tree when setting up it’s the lineman’s belt in a tethrd system. When Up at height I’m tied into my tether. Sorry I’m new to saddle hunting so HSS lifeline doesn’t ring a bell but I don’t believe it is.

Lineman’s rope frayed is it okay?

Okay so using my lineman’s rope this last weekend I happened to catch it on something and fray it a little bit is this something to be worried about or am I okay to keep using? It is on a section of rope that will 90% of time have my weight on it.

    Bedding area?

Interesting I’ll have to keep this in mind when scouting. It’s not too accessible it’s about a 1 mile hike down around a firebreak. The roads are actually another wma that doesn’t have much deer hunting pressure and you aren’t supposed to go across the fence either way.

    Bedding area?

Hello I just started hunting Florida this season and I’ve learned a lot and still have plenty to learn. I started the season hunting oak hammocks near what I believe to be bedding areas and heavily used game trails. Below are two pics of an old water hole and surrounding area that has been dry...

    Ground hunting

I started my year hunting Florida from the ground and while I didn’t get a shot at a buck I had plenty of does (30+) and turkeys (20+) walk 20-80 yards from me in 7 sits so far. Sat in the saddle last weekend for 2 hours and seen two does. Personally I’ll do both next year depending on wind and...

    Newbie from Florida

New to hunting and saddle hunting in general! Did very little hunting with my dad in high school up in PA but he did all the leg work. Hunting my first season here in Florida from the ground then knew a few weeks in that I’m hooked so told the wife I wanted a saddle and low and behold it was...
