    The trouble with baiting on public land especially smaller tracts of land is people almost claiming areas , I ran into this in Texas this season. Private land I don't see it being a problem if it's legal

    I've been using a nap apache for the last few seasons I really like it, had no problems. It replaced a qad ultra rest that sounded like a 22 on release, I know that's not the rests fault but where the bow tuned best the arm hit the shelf on release

    Excellent advice, there's plenty of cheap rifles that will drive tacks if you can't get it shooting well. If you change rifles have a look at a tikka t3 , howa or any of the savages

    I think you've made a good choice. On a side note they seem a real good company to deal with , I lost my keys and emailed skb asking about buying replacements they sent me 2 keys free . I know it's only a few dollars worth but I was surprised how helpful they were
