    I started with the measurements @fbwguy used to build his platform for the primal steps using 3/4 inch plywood. I am using wild edge steps.. My board/platform points almost straight up. The only way I was able to make it lay semi flat was to shorten it some and bevel the edge of the plywood...

    WTB wild edge bag or something similar

    I can fit 6 steps in the middle part my dove bag. There is also room for linesman belt and tether. The material on mine is a little loud. Its cheep and packs great.
