    Buckless Stick Attachment

I've used both - for me I think Nutterbuster's method since it has what seems like more friction points rather than just the looping it once under the versa button.

Summit Open Shot converted to a "sit and climb"

Nice! I like those Summit's - I have a Viper SD that I can't really part with. I removed the original seat and replaced it with Hazmore mesh seat, Third Hand Archery bow holder and safety/security straps. If we could easily/safely climb trees with branches it would be my only tree stand I'd own...

    Treehopper Tree Suit

Thanks - I guess you're using this to "one-stick" with?

    2TC w/Webbing Daisy Chain

Tried to use this around the tree - ropes are actually easier to move and manipulate - so going to use my ropes and just carry two webbing daisy chains as backups or to use when I need to go around branches - thanks!

    2TC w/Webbing Daisy Chain

Thanks fellas - appreciate the help - yes, it's the woven daisy chains that I've used with my sticks and stands.

    2TC w/Webbing Daisy Chain

Side question - I was thinking of using 2TC to climb and setup my Novix Helo treestand - have any of you all setup treestands using the 2TC method? Any issues using this vs with the sticks? Thanks

    2TC w/Webbing Daisy Chain

Hi all - maybe a dumb question but wanted to see if there would be any potential issues with 2TC using webbing daisy chain that I've purchased from EWO. Planning on using a delta link/or carabiner to attach a foot loop to the daisy chain. I really just wanted to reuse what I already have vs...

    Treehopper Tree Suit

Nice! Thanks DB4x4 - is this a faster and/or safer modification vs the other mod with the came hook?

    Treehopper Tree Suit

I have one (2nd Gen w/teeth) - I had high hopes for it, but unfortunately I don't like the "fiddle" factor for me - the OCB is hard to quiet down and I can't get it to stay firmly on the tree - when I step on it platform tilts forward away from the tree. I used a ratchet strap and the legs...

    Safety mishaps per climbing method

Last year I had a kickout with my Hawk Helium stick using an aider- I was left swinging while holding on the top step of the stick. It wasn't fun but I managed to get my footing and restart the climb. I've been using the treestand wingman since - it's added weight but I don't mind the additional...

    2TCers, who use platform?

Not trying to highjack the thread, but this kinda sounds similar to what I'm thinking of using my climbing harness with linesman belt and two tethers one for each leg to climb a tree and setup my Novix Helo - I'll repel down using my treestand wingman ... with the wingman attached I might not...

    Favorite Pack!

Just got this pack and it's pretty impressive (especially for the price I paid for ~$98 on TSC) - the fabric of the pack is a lightweight felt-like material and the zippers have a vinyl coating. The metal stays aren't parallel but are closer together at top - the distance increases from one...

Mystery Ranch Treehouse, Huntworth Hickory & Eberlestock X2

TSC has a sale on Huntsworth Hickory - around $98 - I just ordered one

    Favorite Pack!

I like that idea! using ziplocks I'm going to have to steal that from you - - I'm surprised a hunting company hasn't branded a "custom bag system" to market and sale to us

    Favorite Pack!

Thanks - I'm not looking to pack out anything (I have a technical backpacking pack that I can pack out if necessary) - wanted to know if the pack would fold or compress easily on the long axis - vertically? - doesn't look like it will fold horizontally since it has the two metal stays - thanks
