    What does your arrow cost?

With a Target point I am looking at less than 14.00 per arrow. Jump to a good single bevel broadhead & buying black Friday specials I'm under $40.00 per arrow with a good broadhead. Jump that to a premium S7 broadhead we are looking at closer to 55.00 per arrow

To what distance are you comfortable shooting those lawn darts?:)

Who has snorted the Fairy Dust?

Fairly Sure that will be enough to qualify as a adult arrow.

Most deer harvested in one day?

Had a double doe archery tag one season. Had what I thought was a good pice of public, only access to the sweet spot was by water. Set a stand & returned the following week with a favorable wind with a canoe. Early in the sit I tried rattling. In short order I was hearing a lot of deer up wind...

Who has snorted the Fairy Dust?

I feel very few are trying the 750 grain option much less settling in on 750 grain arrows for hunting. 650 grains may be considerably more common. Personally I have tried the 750 grain option as well as 650 grain. 750 grains was enough to turn me away in terms of trajectory. Seems like I am...

2023 kill stat tracker. Not part of contest. All kills

Had 4 South Dakota deer tags, 2 antler-less rifle tags & 1 any deer archery tag as well as an antler-less tag to work with this season. my goal was 3 deer in the freezer by season end. Put more effort into early season archery deer than usual with little fruit in terms of deer encounters...

    Arrow point weight question

Keep us posted. In the end shot placement is your most crucial goal. Accuracy will trump cut diameter. If you can have both, why not. Try it on targets if you do not like it then back to a known earlier set up.

    Anyone Shoot 600+ Arrow Weight?

I have done 630 the last few years With single bevel 200 grain Cutthroats launched from a 65 lb Hoyt CD34. Lethality has been outstanding with some of my shortest blood trails yet. Suppose it is the system, though I give most of the lethality credit to the scary sharp thing on the tip of the...

    Buzzard Roost Saddle

Suppose I have failed to put in the effort. Been a PIA for me to figure out. been hunting primarily cold weather & having a hard time getting them hooked up with the heave cold weather gear. Ended up going without the straps & that been less desirable.

    Buzzard Roost Saddle

Started off the season with the TETHRD saddle & switched early on to the Buzzard roost. Preferred the Buzzard roost though Id still like to do something different with the leg straps. I found the ones supplied to be near impractical to utilize.

Is 3 miles hike in worth it? Or can I try a smarter and closer setup plan?

If it were me Id hunt everything including your 3 mile in consideration, let the sign tell you where to hunt thus the saddle offers change up in a fluid fashion. Canoe or kayak along with a tree saddle would be my approach 90 percent of the time. water craft would be a real asset in the sense of...

First Pass Through and Blood Trail But Unable to Recover

Lot of factors to consider & we are not likely to get it right every time & our odds of getting it right the first time is the worst odds to be up agents. Never the less, many first time archery hunters have great outcomes. Having good mentors can be a huge help. As for liver hits, location...
