    What is your Drt setup ???

    I attach mine with a prusic because I'm cheap, but you could do a ropeman and it would probably be quicker. Since I'm not worried about life safety rating for my foot, I used a piece of older climbing rope to make a prusic that slides well on the my DRT rope.

    I pretty much DRT climbed all last season, probably atleast 100 or more climbs (including practice and messing around). It took me about 10 practice climbs out in the yard to really get the hang of it -I've got about $62 in my DRT set up. I use Finish Line static rope from Rope and Knot...

    Cost savings

    Also, a good way to make the actual waist belt not move while walking in is to cinch it down, then wrap it tightly around itself. Once I figured this out, this thing is money. I can walk for miles and it never moves.

    I agree, I bought 66' also. lol. Wish I would've bought 75', and the Blake's hitch took me about 10 climbs to feel like I mastered it. Those first 10 were a little panic-y.lol. I found that if I loop those last 2 loops as tightly as I can while tying the knot, then dress it, it works perfectly...

    Did the same. Bought the finish line 11.4mm(32 Strand) static rope from knot and rope supply. $.75 per foot. It's black and white checkered, but I just pull it up, and put it into my bag once I'm tethered up and ready to hunt. I've climbed it DdRT around 30 times so far, no friction saver, rope...
