    I buy a pack every year much to my wife’s chagrin!! Bit the bullet on an Exo K4 this year and have been super pleased with the quality. This thing is bomb-proof. I need to join a support group for backpack addicts!!

    Hypothetically, what would be the best cross loading carabiner?

    I definitely fall on the "Safety Conscious" side of the spectrum. However, I am notorious for forgetting to screw my gate closed on the carabiner for my lineman's belt attachment. :grimacing:

    Most stable platform design

    I've owned the OOAL Ridgerunner and the Tethrd XL. Ran them both with the cam strap and a rope mod. Both seemed "rock solid" once cammed over properly. The Ridgerunner seems like it has a bit more bite into the tree, if that helps.
