    DIY garage deer hoist

I know this post is 6 years old, but I’m curious if this held up well over time. Still using this system?

    DIY bow/gear hanger

I like that idea. I believe you said in this thread that the hook was bent wire. You just took some wire and formed it like that? If so what gauge? Is like to build one myself.

    Got it done!

Well done! I imagine it was a fun, challenging journey to get to this point. Not only a first trad kill, but a trad tag out in the same season!

Hello from SW Illinois (St. Louis)

Thank you very much for the offer. As time permits and I learn more about the subject I’ll reach out. It’s good to know that between you, your son, and Sgt. Beardface there is already a community in my neck of the woods!

Any reviews of this saddle. The Cruzr saddle

I’m interested in the S (no pleat model). You’re one of the few I’ve noticed that went that route. How is it performing for you? I like simple and worry that the pleat may eventually wear and lose its adjustability. Do you find the S comfy for several hour sits?

Hello from SW Illinois (St. Louis)

Hi all. I’ve been mobile hunting with hang on and sticks for a few years. Looking to try the saddle for a lighter rig and other added benefits. Been lurking, reading posts and figured I should join the community. Looking forward to learning more and hopefully one day contribute back.
