I shoot my mini at 125. No issues at all. Arrows still bury in the dirt on the exit side. I use sharp fixed blade heads and everything tunes just fine. I agree with kyler1945 - keep the weight up front acceptable and you will be fine.

Great idea with the zip tie. I’m going to do that too.

So I’ve been thinking of a “soft” foot stirrup idea for a while. I decided to give it a shot to see how I like it. I got 2 lifting 1/4” eye bolts, cut them to the same length as the original stirrup and ground a flat so the set screw would hold tight and not be able to slip out. I then made up...

Hickory Creek Red Dot Users - Recommendations

I have this one. It’s kinda a copy of the Sig Romeo 5. So far it’s been great. It came with both the high and low mounts. Has the “shake awake” feature so it will conserve battery life when just sitting waiting on a shot. Has held zero perfect and tracked well adjusting during sight it. For $62...

I have tried this with my red dot. Although full disclosure- I did not try at extended ranges - only up to 25 yds. I did not notice any significant poi shift. Shots may not have been perfect but some of that I attribute to not holding very steady. All shots were easily inside a 2-3” circle of...

Pretty sure Jerry posted a video about serving in a new d-loop at some point. I’ll see if I can find it to post here.

View with using the single point sling attached at the front grip. Plenty of string clearance.

I didn’t have to adjust the rest. It’s snug on the brushes but not bad. 2219’s probably would need adjustment

They are 2117 so really a 400 spine but at 22.5” they are stiff enough. They group consistently with broad heads and field tips. I shoot 100 gr Muzzy broad heads. Going to try 125 gr next but I already had the 100’s so I went with them. Another thing to note is I shoot at 125 lbs not 150. I...

I agree. I had them so I had to try it out. Love the old school aluminum camo arrows. They shoot great and penetration was awesome in the deer I shot. With a direct shoulder hit, it still buried a foot in the ground on the exit. The power of aluminum and the mini!

Checked original scope clearance and it looks like it will just clear.

It’ll probably clear but I’ll have to check

I’ll get more pics. I can cock it easily without removing the quiver. I was afraid it would be too much in my face when shooting but it’s 100% out of the way. Really like it

Designed/3D printed an offset quiver mount bracket with a little HCA bling and added a single point sling that I attached to a paracord loop tied to the front handle. With it attached this way, I can shoot with the sling attached without string interference. Makes shooting offhand a lot...

Just got mine from Jerry on Tuesday. Was smacking arrows at 30 this evening myself. Tomorrow kicks the season off and the Mini is hungry.

Well…today was the day. I received my new Mini. Thank you Jerry! Just in time for our archery season start on Saturday. I had one and sold it - like a big dummy. I had shoulder surgery a few yrs ago and couldn’t shoot compound anymore. I was able to shoot compound again this spring after...
