    Anyone gotten an overwatch yet?

Right on, man! you're going to love it. It's like a Lazy Boy recliner compared to the Mantis. I used my buddy's Mantis before buying a saddle and it was like a Speedo compared to the Transformer. I'm 6-1, 230 and I'm so glad I got this saddle. What's the lead time on them now?

Tethrd Knee Pads vs Arc Teryx vs Trophyline Knee Savers

LOLOLOL!!!!! Now THAT's funny! My tactical slide is me hanging upside down from one leg in my saddle!

Tethrd Knee Pads vs Arc Teryx vs Trophyline Knee Savers

I have not, but I'm intrigued by the idea. That said, it's an internal pad. I doubt it would take too many saddle hunts to wear a hole in the fabric of those beautiful $200 pants from constantly rubbing against the tree bark.

Tethrd Knee Pads vs Arc Teryx vs Trophyline Knee Savers

It makes perfect sense. And like I said, good for them. I just now ordered a set in black (they also have cammo, coyote and green for $2 more), and this supplier has a 10% sale on knee pads right now (gets taken off at checkout), so they were only $50, plus shipping ... "TYD" (as they say) for...

Tethrd Knee Pads vs Arc Teryx vs Trophyline Knee Savers

They're about one harness level softer than wood ... plus they move all around.

Tethrd Knee Pads vs Arc Teryx vs Trophyline Knee Savers

I did very recently ... they're junk. I immediately returned them for a refund.

Tethrd Knee Pads vs Arc Teryx vs Trophyline Knee Savers

Wow ... they look EXACTLY the same. I'm thinking that they're likely the OEM for Latitude. If so, the price makes sense. Their website (Alta) does not have the grey color as a choice, so that makes them different. Just a hunch and good for them. That's just how business works. At <$60, I think...

Tethrd Knee Pads vs Arc Teryx vs Trophyline Knee Savers

How are the buckles on the Tethrd's? They look a little delicate to me??? The Latitude buckles are a proven design.

Tethrd Knee Pads vs Arc Teryx vs Trophyline Knee Savers

Any preference yet? I keep saying I don't want to spend $75 on a set of knee pads, but I'll probably end up doing just that. Especially if they stay put while walking. My knees are junk and there are barbed wire fences to go under everywhere here in AZ. That's in addition to needing them for...

Tethrd Knee Pads vs Arc Teryx vs Trophyline Knee Savers

LOL ... I wonder if he uses a Tethrd on one knee and a Latitude on the other?

Did you get the new Latitude's or the Tethrd's

Tethrd Knee Pads vs Arc Teryx vs Trophyline Knee Savers

I'm curious ... when you buy a $70+ pair of knee pads, does the salesman at least put them on first and "take care of the kid" before you leave?
