    Reliable weapon you are comfortable with is most important. Know the limitations of yourself and ammo and should be fine. Distance is a big factor.

    Best Single Bevel Broadhead

    I shot helix last year which was my first year with single bevel. They seemed to work well for me. Durable but a bit odd to sharpen with that sharp angle. I like them but will most likely try out a 3:1 this year or next due to ease of sharpening.

    Ha I was thinking more of trees in Nebraska or when I go out to east Texas. In north Texas you are lucky to be low enough in a lawn chair but then you have to watch out for thorns and fire ants.

    Broadhead recommendations

    I shot helix this past year with 2 complete pass throughs. Didn’t hit any major bones but they seem durable enough to handle it. I did get a pass through and hit (and dented) a feeder leg with one and not even a scratch on the blade.
