    First year in a saddle, second buck

    Loving the saddle. Took my second 7 point a few days ago. A nice 4.5 year old in the upper peninsula of Michigan during firearm season. A 4.5 year old in the UP is not an easy thing to see, much less kill. He came in close at about 20 yards, broadside. Chip shot with a rifle, but was still exciting.

    I just clipped mine over the top instead through the loops. Just as if you would clip something to the top of your pants. That clip is pretty tight, and holds pretty well. It kind of grabs the molle loop. Seems to work well.
