    I hunted Chincoteague on the VA side this morning. Had 40 bow hunters in the swamps and only four were harvested (three bulls and a hind).

    It would be like shooting a Large Golden Retriever. It’s going to depend on the distance, through marsh grass, etc. I would be comfortable shooting 36 lbs as long as it’s a clear shot within 30 yards.

    Anyone know the exact weight of the LW HC? I’ve seen 3 lbs and 5 lbs in this post. Trying to decide if I should make the plunge or stick with my summit platform. Weight will be the deciding factor.
