    Lightweight Barren ridge platform

Never had an opportunity at a shot, and I had a rifle rather than a bow. But yes, I felt comfortable standing on any part of the platform with both feet. Size 8 boots. I did not attempt to kick off from the side of the platform if that's what you're asking. It bit and set very solidly.

    Lightweight Barren ridge platform

Define side pressure? While supported by my tether, I stomped pretty good (didn't bounce) on all sides of the platform. No movement when it was fully set. In fairness, I'm kinda small. No idea if a big heavy guy could shift it that way.

    Lightweight Barren ridge platform

Definitely keeping mine too. I'm thinking about putting a stiff piece on it that will allow me to easily slip my foot in and out to lift it without the concern of it being attached. Lightweight Barren ridge platform

I did swing off to the side at one point while strapped in to this thing, as I'm a very new climber/saddle hunter and not particularly athletic. The platform moved with me to some extent and I was fine. I suppose if my tether had completely failed and the platform wasn't set solidly enough to...

    Lightweight Barren ridge platform

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on one. Some review and updates from me. First of all, the product arrived very quickly. But like another person mentioned, the holes weren't lined up right. I called them and they fixed it instantly - a new one was shipped right away and arrived in a couple...

    Lightweight Barren ridge platform

Brand new saddle hunting experimenter here. Just starting to look into all of this. This method looks like it would work well for me, but couple questions - one, can you still use a lineman's belt for additional safety here? Two, what happens if something fails and you fall and your foot remains...
