How many times have you been in there this year? Have you seen him during daylight hours? Do you have a camera there? If you know he’s in there still, I’d hunt him. If someone else is coming in from 2 miles and knows 3 other people are hunting him, he may lose interest. -

I took a buddy from my apprentice class out with my on some private ground tonight. He said he has asked 5-6 people to take him out and show him the ropes and I was the first to take him. We saw a nice buck and I ended up shooting a doe. I’ll submit it tomorrow when he sends me the pics... -

Thanks. Yes it was not a fun drag. I called dnr to see the rules for doing that. They said you still have to remove the entire carcass minus the guts. Proof of gender has to be attached to one quarter. I’d still like to try it but it’ll be multiple trips. Motivation would fall off quick... -
