How do you confirm a scrape is a community scrape?

I agree with what you are saying. Maybe over simplifying, but if does are always near that scrape proximity anyway It will be used by several bucks. In my areas even the older bigger bucks share with little guys but usually after dark or pink light. We all try to find spots like you have. I have...

    Detachable bino harness

Rick Young Outdoors bino harness 19.99. I picked up a few years ago. For a cheap quick on and off harness that fits under layers with small binos it works perfect. Maybe not what you're looking for but maybe someone else may find them useful. Late season it fits under heavy coats and super compact.

Funny that you mentioned the Mil. My buddy's son is a tank commander in the Army. He told his dad (my buddy) the army is working on a camo pattern that automatically changes to match the terrain you're in. If they make it in ScentLok wonder who would be promoting and hyping it....hmmmm

The start of my Wis. Turkey season I was blessed with a beautiful morning and a beautiful bird. I started out in a blind but It's hard for me to sit when I hear a gobbler gobbling in the distance. I just had to go after him. About half hour of chasing him I got in his trust zone and called him...

    Licking branch tree fell over

I found that out years ago. I peed on a logging road and found a scrape there a few days later. Seen it happen a few other places since. Tink's doe pee was actually rabbit (doe) pee. DIY pee is cheaper....lol

    Licking branch tree fell over

No, never put urine under it. just raked the ground up with a stick. Maybe urine would have helped. Maybe try it next time.

    Licking branch tree fell over

If it's just a field edge tree branch over a scrape I wouldn't be too concerned. I have had a really good scrape loose the licking branch. Try cutting one off a lesser scrape branch and zip tie it over your prime or hot scrape. It's worked for me on occasion. If all else fails a new nearby...
